When I asked them the question, "What do you want to remember about this time in your life?" they said, "Our family."

Destiny and Adrian met almost six years ago, in the military. Destiny was working as a medic, and Adrian was doing some engineering work. They fell in love, started a family, and eventually left the military to pursue careers - She as an ER nurse, and he as an electrician. They now have two beautiful daughters, but didn't get to have the wedding photos of their dreams... so with the help of Lavish & Lush, we were able to re-create the wedding photos they didn't get to have at the top of beautiful Stone Mountain!

Hair and Makeup

Abby at Lavish and Lush took Destiny's boho-inspired floral hairpiece and created an entire look that was both classy and trendy - while making her feel like a princess and keeping everyone laughing!

The hike in

After we had donned our best duds, it was time to hike the mountain! We traveled about an hour to Stone Mountain, where we began our trek in the fields at the base of the mountain.

The Granite Dome

We went up about a mile and a half, before we finally saw the bottom of the beautiful granite dome. Don't be fooled, guys! This is not a volcano. It's North Carolina. The stones were so beautifully dark and the craters really do lend a volcanic quality to the space. It was the perfect place for what we had planned.
