Nothing fancy, just love

Lauren & Chayce met in church youth group in high school. They are avid outdoors lovers, and enjoy kayaking and hiking with their Cane Corso mastiff, Odin. Chayce popped the question on a day-long kayaking expedition over a picnic lunch, and they immediately started planning a way to get married and include the people most important to him without compromising their love of all things wilderness, and the intimacy of the moment.

Lauren and I worked together and found this beautiful AirBnB (and it's for sale now! check it out here). The climb up the mountain was steep and twisty, and if we hadn't have been in Jeeps we wouldn't have made it!

When we arrived at the top, the view was just breathtaking. Lauren's brother-in-law came and serenaded her (and played the guitar for her dad to walk her to the edge of the cliff where their vows were said) and her dad built this incredible rustic arch.

Lauren and Chayce got to have their private, intimate ceremony with just a few immediate family members as witnesses and their pastor officiating - and were able to invite all of their friends and family to a reception following their honeymoon! Bonus points: they had a few sneak peeks to print out and hang up at the reception to make their guests feel like they were a part of the ceremony too!
