Love never fails.

Ordinarily, I meet my couples MONTHS before their wedding, but when one of Donna and Kenny's family members reached out to me about procuring my services as a surprise gift for them, I couldn't say no. Donna and Kenny were gifted by God with a second chance at love, and my heart felt tugged in their direction the moment I heard their story.

Kenny was married to his first wife for nearly thirty years, before she passed away quite suddenly of cancer. Donna was a bachelorette for over 15 years before she met Kenny. She put it simply, "I had opportunities, sure, but I was just waiting on the Lord to give me the O.K."

Kenny, a former pastor and current preacher and soul winner, told me the story of how a mutual friend introduced he and Donna. He lit up when he described her - beautiful inside and out, a kind person, someone he can laugh with. When I asked what he wanted for his family, friends, and for he and Donna to remember when they looked back on these photos, Kenny said, "That the Lord never leaves, never fails. I just want Him to be present and honored by this day."

This sweet family was so relaxed, happy and peaceful. By the end of the day, not only had a clear presentation of the Gospel been presented, but I felt like my heart was knitted together with these sweet people. Truly, when two or three are gathered in Jesus's name, He is there, and I know He was there for the union of these two! Donna, Kenny, and family, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.
